Really enjoyed lunch here- menu items are definitely rich and savory. Can't speak to the dinner menu, but would absolutely return. Loved that our waiter explained how to eat unique dishes like the drum neck

The crawfish pie was delicious and was my favorite. I was not big in the quail. It had a spicy kick to it but just not completely right there- not sure about what and why but one thing for sure was the temperature. Perhaps it was due to it got fired too early yet had to wait for the pie to be ready- it was only kid of like warm. Over all it was very good experience. Fabulous vibe and deco. Our waiter Chris explained the drink and dinner menu very well with great details and highlight!

Just look at the picture. The food is incredible. Distinct and weird (if you're from the north) and have never seen or or heard of something like what we got. Oh, and you can have turtle, gator and venison here! Not common for some Detroiters ! And the service/ wait staff, so kind and welcoming. I highly recommend. Drinks are pretty cool too. Try the melon smoke cocktail and the hole 43. Well crafted. The wine selection is extensive (kinda pricey). Warning, though, this is something you'll want to make sure you are OK spending the money for, especially if you aren't familiar with the dishes. But, it worked out for my girl and I so. Enjoy!

Food is great, drinks are great. Selection on both a bit limited but solid. It's never packed and super convenient (if you live in the cotton mill). It would be my weekday go to, if I lived in that building.

My sister and I had a hard time finding the entrance but so worth it! Absolutely enjoyed chargrilled oysters, Tartare, butter cake for dessert. And the damn thistle libation was over the top! Love the atmosphere and big thanks to Sam & Sesa for making recommendations and for answering all of our questions. Also, for accommodating my 6 yr old with a grill cheese that he loved! We will be eating here anytime we come to New Orleans!

Excellent drinks. Cheerful serving staff. Chargrilled oysters, tuna tartare, and alligator were fantastic. The hot quail is definitely for those that like spice. The backstrap venison was perfectly rare. If you're a fan of german chocolate cake then save room for the bread pudding. Will be back with guests and clients!

Very unique menu and bursting with flavor. Very good wait staff too. We went in on a slow night. Had venison backstrap, hot quail, and BBQ oyesters. All were very good. I like a ton of flavor, but I think some might think the sauces overpower the meats. I can see that, but everything was prepared nicely and it was great to try some unique dishes. A little more on the expensive side. I would say it's a $$$ place not a $$ place. Nice interesting cocktails too.
